Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs how everyone uses the eazyChops platform — customers, restaurant vendors, and delivery couriers. It forms part of our Terms of Service. By using eazyChops you agree to follow it. We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches it.

• Use the platform only for lawful purposes and in line with these rules.
• Provide accurate account, contact, payment, and (for vendors) business information.
• Do not use eazyChops to defraud, deceive, or harm another person or business.
• Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Respect other users, vendors, couriers, and our staff — abusive or threatening behaviour is not tolerated.

You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

• Buy, sell, or arrange delivery of anything illegal under Nigerian law.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, prices, reviews, or claims.
• Use stolen, unauthorised, or fraudulent payment methods, or attempt chargeback abuse.
• Circumvent, disable, or manipulate our fees, payments, ratings, or promotions.
• Infringe intellectual-property rights, or upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or hateful.
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or endanger any customer, vendor, courier, or staff member.
• Interfere with the platform's security, scrape or harvest data, or access it by automated means without permission.
• Create multiple or fake accounts to abuse promotions, evade suspension, or manipulate the platform.

Vendors may only list food and permitted related items they are lawfully entitled to sell. The following may never be offered through eazyChops:

• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or unregistered pharmaceuticals.
• Weapons, explosives, or other dangerous goods.
• Counterfeit, stolen, or otherwise unlawful goods.
• Unsafe, expired, adulterated, or falsely described food.

Age-restricted items (for example alcohol, where permitted) may only be listed where the vendor holds the required licences and complies with all legal age-verification requirements.

Vendors are independent businesses and additionally agree to:

• Hold all licences and registrations required to operate a food business and complete our onboarding verification (identity, business registration, and tax ID).
• Follow all food-safety, hygiene, packaging, and labelling laws, and disclose allergens accurately.
• Keep menus, prices, availability, and preparation times accurate and up to date.
• Prepare and hand over accepted orders promptly and as described.

Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may (depending on severity) issue a warning, remove content, withhold or reverse payments for the affected orders, suspend or permanently terminate the account, and — where required — report the matter to the relevant authorities. We may act immediately and without notice for serious breaches, such as fraud or threats to health and safety.

To report a breach of this policy, email support@eazychop.com with the order reference (where relevant) and a description of the issue.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of eazyChops after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
